One thing i thought might have been an issue was that only MPU shows upo in the midi input in preferences.

Fog what model keyboard is it? I bought a midimate2 and it worked instanlty like a charm. Amazon's Choice recommends highly rated, well-priced products available to ship xmido. Sysex isn't as consistent. This combination makes for zero latency - hit a key - hear a note - amazing. This is clearly marked on the Xmidi 1x1 adapter and anyone who uses MIDI regularly is probably used to this convention.

Is there another universal driver i presume that is what an MPU is that i can install, or something else i can try? It's too bad there's just not a lot of competition in this area of midi-to-USB. I don't think I have done it that way before though.
